Just installed a boost gauge using the Road Race Engineering website and it is only showing vacuum at about 30 and then if I boost a while it slowly goes towards 0. The T connection is right before the regulator like rre says.

your vac is way too high. Double check your connections and make sure the line isn't kinked anywhere.

checked for kinks and the connections are extra tight. the vac sits at 20 at idle too. The gauge moves super slow! is it supposed to be an instant change? one thing i noticed is that the T i got with the gauge has a gold piece with an extremely small hole in it in the connection the boost gauge line connected too. is that the problem? i didn't think you need much airflow.

I still think you have a kink somewhere.

I got a clear soft piece of hose with the gauge, and I used it. Do you guys have a hard hose for the boost gauge?

its probably the pinhole sized exit in the T connector, where it connects to the boost line

I felt that hose after it was warmed up and it was as soft as a Burger King straw but thicker

at idle it should pull 20hg, as soon as you let off the clutch and feather the throttle it should be at 0 by 1700to 2k and after 2k it should be hitting boost your line is kinked or you use the soft silicone type that gets hot the collapses on itself you need hard line for a boost gauge go to napa ask for the vdo kit it includes 16 feet of high strength tubing and a crap load of connectors and it is 11.95$ good luck also check the location of where it is t'd off it should be n e vac line after the butterfly on the t/b,good luck
