are you saying that it is disconnected or missing- you could reconect it or get a MBC for fairly cheap- the hose comes from the nipple on the wastegate actuater- follow it- when it ends- plug it into the BCS

I think you need to re-read his post. He's looking for the BCS solenoid 'cause his car didn't come with one so he is asking for a picture so he can find the right solenoid.

Not sure how much this helps you, but on my vr4, the BCS was attached to the stock aircan and had a "T" shaped plug with 2 leads in it.

sorry- i misunderstood his post- mine is mounted on the body right below my airfilter- a little rectangular object with hoses running to-and-from, thats on my 95' TSI

ok now by looking at the pictures I have a solenoid that looks like that in my shed.... Now as for the plug that connects it, i will have to go look for it. I got a earry feeling it was cut....

I hate to ask cause I know I should have a tech manual (haynes sucks), but does anyone have a underhood wiring diagram, appears as my car sat broken some little mouse must've chewed off 4-5 wires. I think they the ones that go to my BCS, and Thermastat Housing..
