i have a big problem. i believe i have to much oil going threw my turbo. i have a 16g turbo. everything has been going fine iv'e been pushing 14psi daily no problems. one day i was getting on it and when i shifted to second poof a big cloud of blue smoke, i did it again in second same thing in all the gears. i poped the hood and i look around and i see that my blow off valve spat oil out of it. also when im spooling up it sound like the turbo is drowning. also when this happened my boost level dropped dramatically from 14 to 8. my shot told me to get a stage two and call it a day. replacing all pipping and everything should i do that or is there a temporary fix for this untill i can save

What is a stage two? DSM's don't have stages ROFL

Anyway, your turbo could be shot, when mine went, it was blowing oil through the intercooler piping, but was puffing white smoke, not blue. The seals in your turbo could be gone. How many miles are on it?

dont really know i bought if from the kid and his shop replaces the cartrige. and my shop called up and verified that it was changed. so all you thnk is i have to replace the turbo just get the same one?

a bigger turbo i was going to purchase the Big 16G kit

Pretty impressive to be puking oil out of your BOV.

Turbo seals are gone. Turbo can either be rebuilt or replaced. Either way it's no longer good.

Yes, sounds like the turbo is shot. I would however suggest that you look into why before you slap on another turbo. Yes, turbos do die of old age but most of the time, there is a cause to be discovered.
