thankyou for the link buddy good idea and yea thats a good price im ordering today

Make sure you check your head and block for straightness and a nice shiny surface if using the cometics. Otherwise, stay away and stick with a composite. You can run the stock 6 bolt head bolts overtorque'd a few lbs on a felpro for a while. I would say with a decent tune and moderate boost on a good fuel they are good to 30ish psi.

That being said, I run composite HG's (ITM and fel-pros) and an oringed head around 40psi on E85.

If you want a solid combo, L19s and an OEM mitsu composite. But keep the boost stock and get some sort of logger or tuning software so you can monitor what is going on with the engine, otherwise it (blown HG) will happen again.

thanks u for your input buddy i will definetly keep that in mind, ive done almost everything on dsms motor wise and numerous honda motor swaps and head gaskets and turbo mods but i havent done a headgasket on a 1g and i know for a fact i can im just curious about the cams ,,,can i pull the head without taking the cams out?
