i have been having a problem ever since i got my 2g 6bolt swap where when cold, the car idles just fine until the engine warms up and i turn off the car and restart it. it then idles at about 150-200 rpm and shuts off almost always. i had rebuilt the throttle body and checked for boost leaks months back. there were no boost leaks. still, the problem persists. also, i had replaced the ISC months back with the new black plastic one and tested today for resistance on the coils and got a reading of 41 ohms throughout each coil. this sounds high for the old ISC's but i read somewhere that it might be fine for the new ones... is there anyone else experiencing this problem that can help me out? i can barely get around with this thing since it shuts off when i have to engage the clutch abruptly.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance,
George

Check out dsmisc.com and look if it looks like theirs. They have a great FAQ on there website.

One thing people often tend to forget, when testing an ISC's coils at room temperature this is a static reading. Run the car for a while and those coils tend to heat up. When you have a coil exposed to higher temperatures, resistance will increase. Just something to keep in mind.

Also make sure you ground the connectors and adjust the BISS properly. The correct and detailed procedure is on vfaq.com

If you get bored with your isc troubleshooting try adjusting your TPS. It may need to be adjusted by rotating it. You can also test it with a multimeter.

ok guys ill try all of those things thnx. is there anything else it could be? i was thnking maf...?
