BISS thread pitch?

Here's an odd one. Does anyone know what thread pitch and size the 1G BISS is? I just blew mine out on the way home from work and its replacement wont be here until next week. I obviously cant fit a thread pitch gauge in the hole. If I knew what size/pitch it was I think I could get away with just a bolt in the throttle body to fill the leak until then.

PS: For all the Canadian DSMer's, start saving your spare BISS screws. I apparently just ordered the last available one. It was located in Toronto.

You will have a very hard time finding a bolt to go in there. I just rebuilt my motor from scratch and the biss screw was one thing I replaced. Somebody shoved a large coarse bolt in its place, I almost had to replace the throttle body. I was able to retap it and the new biss screw fit in wonderfully. As for the thread pitch, its a very odd one, something like 9mmx.75, don't remember exactly, but I remember I had to special order the tap from my snap-on dealer. Snap-on didn't even make a tap that size, he had to order it from some specialty place. I'll look for the tap tomorrow, it should be in my toolbox at work. But the odds of you finding a screw that size before the right one gets to you are slim to none.

I just got done going through the same thing you are. Mitsubishi had to keep making money some how by making the damn pitch the way it is. A bolt will not work, and be sure to get a metal one!
