Thanks for the suggestion, but they replaced it with another Seibon hood. I'm going to order some aerocatch latches as recommended by 1990dsmkid but need to find a good shop to install them. I am to OCD about placement, and if I was off by millimeter it would drive me crazy if I did it.

I have aerocatch locking hood pins. I love them. I painted my carbon hood though so I didn't have the color issue.

I love the placement of those. I read a lot on placing them there. Can you post more pics on the pin placement? I've read a great install step-by-step by urban smoker but still to intimated to cut a new hood

There is a way to do it with paper that makes it super easy, just flip it for the other side and it will be perfectly symmetrical.

Yea urban and I talked a lot before he did his. I think he chose a shot slightly different than I did.

These are the best 2 I have on me right now. I can take more detailed ones if you need them.

Also the aerocatch pins come with a template. As long as you take your time and use plenty of masking tape and measurement you will be ok.
