So who is all going for sure, and where are you guys staying (holiday inn is the host hotel).

I am going for sure, I plan on bringing my red car but if I have problems I will drag the mid american down and finish with that car or the neon acr that I ran at RA as a backup car.

also I have 2 transponders available for this event and then only one until the end of the year. I will be bring both along.

I will be there both days. I will be running in HPDE 4 and trying to get my TT sign off one of those days. I'm looking forward to it!!

We will be staying at the Motel 6 on Saturday night. It is about 15 miles from the track, but had very reasonable rates and is highly recommended. Alot of the other ones closer to the track claimed they have no rooms available that night.

NASA is at Autobahn July 21-22. Sign up with NASA $40 per year.

We're in the Midwest region. Novices sign up in HPDE 1 and get 1 on 1 with an instructor. Come out and have fun with your car, spectators welcome too. We'll be at Autobahn July 21-22. Stop by and say hi. Red 04 GTO #157. See ya on the track. I'll post some pics next week.

I didn't see your post until after I posted. We'll be there running in TT-D class. It should be a blast. Looks like nice weather too.

SlowOldPoop (Rich) will be running and his crew will be there in support. :rocks:

I even have a couple of friends from Chicago that are either running their first HPDE with NASA or coming out to watch.

SlowOldPoop will be on the rollers at AMS in a few hours laying down a tune for TTS class. Hopefully they can tune it for a safe 370hp. That's the hp he needs to be at the top edge of the restricted weight to hp limit of 8.7:1.

To combat this new-found hp, he borrowed some wider tires from a friend. He'll be on 275 wide kumho race tires stretched onto 10 inch wide CCW's! WTF

The weather looks awesome! High 70's and 10% chance of precipitation. :thumb:
