Anyone ever recover there 1G door pannels?

I was just wondering if anyone has recovered there 1G door pannel peace that is fabric in vinal? Is there some way that peace comes off to make it eaiser or how do you do it.

I did the door pannels on my old sunfire with vinal but they came off the car so it made it easy. Please let me know guys!

yeah you can. If you take off your door panel you will see the vinyl part is held on by like 8 metal prongs. Just straighten them out and the vinyl comes off. Its really simple to do.

yep not hard at all. I did it in my old gst. as stated, you take the panel off, straighten the little clips out on the back, then pull the peice off the front.
remove the old material, wrap the new material onto it, glue it around the back so it stays tight, stick it back on, bend clips over, put door panel back on.

I re-covered mine in fleece, not vinyl and I think it looks pretty damn good. Check out my car pics, there should be a shot of the door somewhere in there.
