I was talking to this guy and he said that a dsm can run a low thirteen with the stock turbo? I said no way, but he said somtimes even 12's! ! :thumbdown =

I believe the stock 14b found on a 1g is capable of running low 13's, 12's, and in the rare instance, 11's....

yup 11's has been accomplished quite a few times. Dont underestimate DSMs

The fastest 14b time, as of last weekend, is 11.65.

My car went 12.8 on the 14b, with stock injectors and the stock SMIC.

No, 2nd gen Eclipses/Talons are equipped with a Garrett T-25. The equivelent of a hairdryer.

Which is why many 2g guys 'upgrade' to a stock 1g 14b turbo

Yea, b/c my car is a 2nd generation and I know it can't run 11's on stock turbo. I was going to say I don't have a 14b thought I had a T-25, but I didn't know it was a garret t-25 thx for the info! :thumb

Im pretty sure that the 2g's have run 12's on the stock turbo, so u would still be wrong.

I just had a look on our fastest times page.

the only guy to 'claim' running 12's on the t-25 has no link to his slip.

the other two guys are running low 13's.

I think low 13's on the t25 is possible.
But in all actuallity I don't think it's a 12 second turbo. Look at it's flow rates/charts.

Look at your gallery there is a picture of the engine bay and It has the same mod list that I have, but you didn't list the turbo upgrade, which you can clearly see! Think beofre you post someone elses pic! A##hole! :thumbdown
