I clicked on the link you provided and nothing came up. I live in Seaside,so Im definitely interested. I've been thinking about trying to put together a meet out here that ends up at Del Rey Beach. Lmk

The shootout ? I hate PIR the track is always prepped very crappy and there always has other cars then evo's and dsm's at the shootout never got why it's titled evo dsm shoot out, why not just westcoast shootout xD. Not trying to hate just wish it was more hype for me. Woodburn is my fav drag strip or if I had money to travel I would go pacific raceways.

I know whats going on theres tons of info on many many different car forums , Theres Time Attack Competition, a Drifting Demonstration, and a Multi-Genre Car Show, this event is every year . Theres also many car event all around the usa to mainstream and repetative for me stand around for few hours look at the same stuff . I'll just watch youtube and eat pizza and watch youtube videos of car shows instead or wait for someone to video and post on youtube of the shootout . I know what it is I just wish only a dsm/evo only event I seen many other cars at cars shows all the time like ghetto scions, bmws, supra,muscle cars etc etc.. Not a huge fan of track time attack or circuit racing or drifting or standing around looking at cars especially are low volume of import cars that are exotic looking or older imports that are restricted in the US. We just got hondas, mustang or subarus . I am not really even a dsm fan if I had like an evo 3 then ya I would love it more but rather boring working on broken down dsms all the time. I really like lexus tho they are funner power cars that look sweet. I am working on lexus sc300 now. But anyways ya man I know what events are happening but for one pir is rather crummy drag strip and to many rules and blah blah. I am out everyday in portland theres nothing exciting here, now flordia they know how to get it poppin over there they got meets like everyday and huge array of cars, maybe becuase they got money over there . Altho there not many dsm/evo here in ghetto portland so I don't doubt more veriety of cars to show up to any dsm event.
On a side note how many went to the beach I heard there was only like 6 cars not all performance cars like pickups and such, and they didn't provide food. -.-

Oh it was canceled last year. I thought it was the same as the other shootout we always have I think it's buscher racing in Ohio. Not hating on it at all, it's just I cant look at the same things over and over for not very long before become bored and repetitive. Im sure people will go as the date doesn't collide with shootout in Ohio. I am not hating on the event just not a fan of Portland raceway it's rather small place to walk around and there drag strip never prepped to my liking. None of that is about the event I am sure be fun for most. Also just saw a thing Forced Performance is having a little shootout in texas too.

You heard wrong. There were more than 6 cars there. Some of the attendees drove vehicles different than DSM, it is true. But this was not just for these cars. It was for ANYONE who wanted to join in. Pick-ups, SUV's, DSM, Evo, etc.

And as far as PIR not being a good track, well, everyone has their opinion. If you're not interested in attending this year perhaps next year. We're working hard to ensure everyone who attends our events enjoy themselves and leaves with the knowledge that we did our very best to make everyone feel welcome. Even Honda drivers.

So while our 'scene' might not be as big as Florida's we are working hard to build on what is existing here. 'Think Globally, Race Locally' is the type of mentality we're rockin.

the beach run was a blast. i had alot of fun. you dont see my tsi in the video cause it is still down, witing for a new trans. but i was in the montero pulling people out and cooking (also enjoying the heineken in the video ) i always have fun at these meets and events and the weather was perfect, the best the oregon coast can be.

big event? are you referring to the 2nd attempt at the inaugural west coast dsm shootout? an event that was scheduled for about the same time last year and was cancelled due to funding technicalities? if so, i wonder if THIS event is actually for real this time? i bought tickets last year, then suddenly and mysteriously the event was cancelled and i was never reimbursed for all the tickets I bought. thanks west coast dsm

Wrong and Wrong. The event last year was cancelled due to insurance issues not a financial one. And as far as you purchasing 'Pre-Sales' this is complete BS. We never implemented a system for the purchasing of tickets let alone one for pre-sales. If you're going to slander us at least try to make it somewhat factual.

somewhat factual? i think you should practice what you preach. i dont want to get into a debate with you on the forum over your premeditated ripoffs that many others could converge on you over. i know for a fact why the event was cancelled, i dont need to argue over what you personally told me (and others) prior. dont be embarrassed that you couldnt cover the expenses to finish the event, insurance? i call BS. whats the matter? dont remember who i am?

the post you were referring to was an attempt to bring you out in the public for a chance for you to openly admit your wrongdoings to the dsm community and make them right. yes i have bought parts from you in the past: it was for my dad you scammed us on a radiator when the car was broke down on the other side of town and charged us $55 for a radiator that "you pressure tested personally" which once installed on the said vehicle leaked like a $.0.B. and then you told us that you would replace it with a genuine oem mitsu unit, we waited for 2 days (praying the car would not be towed) and the unit never arrived, you then ceased answering our calls. later you send us a text saying you will send a check for the amount in the mail to our address. it never came. you never answered the phone again. you hid in your "shop" when we came by to confront you. the said vehicle was then a huge (and expensive) hassle to get home that id rather not explain atm. so did i just fabricate this off the top of my head??? or are you not letting everybody else in on something? i DO know others who you have scammed. you do to. and im sure they will be heard here after this outburst.

EDIT: Oh and you never answered in the pm you sent me. why is your business listed as NO LONGER IN BUSINESS on the better business bureaus website? hmm seems strange a great flourishing business would be listed with an alert like that. why do you write "your new number" on "business" cards?

still with the act? even after the pm you just sent me asking how you can make this right? and as for the outright lie you speak of, that too as before was a ploy to get SOME kind of response from you; after refusal to respond to our phone calls and emails, i resorted to a more tactical approach in a place a "vendor" cant avoid. so once again, the questions are awaiting answers...
