aluminum flywheel reuse

Hey yall,

I've got a question abotu reusing an alumnium flywheel, the act 12.5lb preferrably because that is what I have on my car, it has approximately 13k miles and I was wondering if I take it out is there a way of resurfacing it or do I have to buy a new one or aluminum ones dont need resurfacing. Thanks for any input.

i don't know about that if you go to thin it could cause it to warp and crack , i got a alumnium fidanza fly wheel ,the friction ring is removable no resurfacing needed so i can get a clutch job done in a matter of hours , not days.
