Hi,

Hope someone have or at least someone knows where I can find an alternator wiring diagram from a 1G DSM....

When I bought my car the last owner installed a diferent kind of alternator WTF :nono: . Recently I bought the stock mitsu alternator. When I was trying to install it back I found out that the OEM wires were changed in order to make the other alternator fit. I want to leave my car with the stock alternator and that's why I need that wiring diagram. The stock wires still there but were cutted, so I want to rewire it in the original way...

Can someone help me with that?

Thanks in advance.

Does the DSM MANUAL BACK UP CD have it? I am not sure, i will try checking tonight. You Probably don't need the the diagram to fix it tho. Post a picture up of what it looks like now.

Thanks!!!! I don't have the manual back up cd, but if you have it please take a look on it for me... I will apreciate that a lot :thumb: :thumb:

Right now I only have the + wire and one more that goes directly to one of the terminals of the voltage regulator. the other terminal of the volt. regulator is not connected.... In this way the other alternator was charging properly but what I want is to leave it in the stock way...

I will try to get a picture of what it looks like now...

I have been looking in the internet and in the HANES manual but I haven't found the stock wiring diagram of my car

I have been looking and searching for that electrical diagram but I can't really find it. Please if someone have that wiring diagram or if someone have the Manual Back Up Cd., please take a look on it and help me with this issue:

Ok, this is what I got on my car... I have the positive terminal of the alternator connected in the same way the Original wire was :thumb: . The problem is on the wires that goes directly to the alt. voltage regulator. The voltage regulator of the OEM alternator have 2 terminals (Terminal #1 and terminal #2)... The only terminal that is connected on my car is the #2 terminal. That terminal is conected to a black and white wire that comes from the starter and from the inside of the car. In this way my alternator is charging but I assume that something is going wrong because it seems the alternator is overcharging all the time (no matter if I turn on my lights or the A/C)... I guees the terminal #1 helps the voltage regulator to work properly (without overcharging or overloading the alternator). I found two yellow wires (near to the alt) that were cutted before I bought my car :notgood: :notgood: I guess one of this yellow wires must be connected to the terminal #1 of the volt. regulator. I take a look at those wires... both wires comes from the fuse box (the passenger box in the engine compartment). One of those yellow wires comes from the Head Lamp Doors Fuse. I cant figure out what those that wire coming from the H. lamp doors have to do with the alternator????  The other yellow wire seems to come also from the fuse box but I can't find exactly from where... :( :(

As you can assume, I really need an electrical wiring diagram of my car... can someone help me find one???

Or give me suggestions.... I need to know which one of those two yellow wires must be connected to the Terminal #1 of volt. reg? or maybe both yellow wires must be connected to termina #1????

Any Idea will help me a lot!... Thanks in advance
