Hey guys new to your fourm. I just installed my air/fuel gauge and had it parked and turned it on with the engine running and all it did was go from lean to rich. Is it supposed to do that while parked and reving? Or will it stay steady when im acutally driving.?

Ok thanks for letting me know, i thought i had installed it wrong. I havent drivin it yet because i dont have my pillar pods to hold them in yet. Thanks though

I had the same question when I installed my air/fuel gauge a few years ago. Yes, during normal driving, it will go back and forth between lean and rich. This is because the ecu is always trying to find the ideal (14.7:1) fuel ratio, and it always over shoots, then undershoots, back and forth. But during WOT, o2 voltages should be about .94volts, which would be the 1st or 2nd green led on the air/fuel meter.

Just to warn you though, a/f gauges look pretty, but that's about it. They don't offer much in the way of tuning. I got rid of mine and most everyone else does too. Not trying to discourage you, just letting you know.

Yea i think i prolly should have gone with the egt gauge. But later down the line i guess ill sell it too when i get into major hp tunning. Im just running a stock t25 with a mbc and a injen intake. Not to much as of now. Thanks for the advice.!!!!
