afpr on ebay

That fpr is the best to get but I don't think the install kit you get with that is the greatest. What they include is the fuel rail fitting, an 90 deg adapter that screws into the fuel adapter on one end and the fpr on the other, then they include the fitting to hook up the return and a plug for the extra outlet hole on the fpr that isnt used. Normally they include some rubber line so you can mount the fpr firmly on the firewall and run the hose from there to the rail. With that kit your fpr is just sitting in air and only held in place by the fittings, which I don't think is the best method as there is a possibility that with the weight of the fpr on the fittings they could come loose.

i actually just bought a bolt on unit from import evolution and the B&M guage kit.they said it was their last one. sweet!

92GSXBaltimore, is that the same regulator as this one? AEI-13109 . Why is it over $100 more on ebay? just for a few fittings...???

Yes that is the same regulator. If you check out other DSM shops they all want $95 - 100 for the install kits (but they include more then the extreme kit). The aluminum AN fittings are expensive. You might be able to get all the pieces at abit better price if you buy them individually, I never bothered to work out the difference since I didn't want to take the chance of gettin a wrong fitting and end up spending more in the long run.

most of the dsm shops that sell an install kit sell something much nicer. it mounts the fpr on the firewall in most cases and comes with enough -6AN line to put it where you want it to if you don't want it there. This kit just comes with a 90 bend off the fuel rail outlet which isn't going to fit that great, especially if you have an aftermarket intake manifold, just look at thier pic of it.

Exactly, thats why I said other kits include more, I already posted the differences in the 2 kits in my above post :thumb:

i purchased that same kit that is listed on ebay and it does come with some braided line and the fittings, you just have to build it wich is a major pain
