Adjustable Pillowball Mounts

Does the pillowball serve as the pivot point(ie bearing) for the top of the front struts? Bought a set of Teins PB's for the Colt

Yes, the center bearing of the bearing plate (pillow ball) acts as the upper mount. The shock should go though it, and be bolted down to it, on the topside. It replaces the factory bushing setup. I'm running Koni yellows, with RRE bearing plates. I didn't see that RRE had coaxial hats and torrington bearings available when I pieced my suspension together, so I went with some off brand coaxial hats from a stock car catalog.

On a 2g, it's not an adjustable camber bearing plate, because caster and camber aren't adjusted from the upper mount.
