Hey guys, I'm not new to SD but I am a bit rusty and the setup is on my daily. I'm going to upload a log file so you guys can see the existing timing table. The timing is so severely retarded due (6* at 3k rpm) to the little mishap of a bad knock sensor (had a hole in it) at the time of tuning that the previous owner neglected to check until after tuning. Anyways, Trying to get a rough guess of how much I can safely advance or just general suggestions for the table.

Setup is as follows:
e316g @ 21.5psi
SBR stg1 6-bolt .20over (motor is completely healthy)
Link v3 (obviously)
SD (GM IAT, AEM 5bar)
LC1 WB (was an AEM uego at time of tuning)

log file:

let me know if it doesn't work for you, I made the share public and you should be able to download. Thanks in advance for any constructive suggestions.

I viewed the log and for the most part, it looks good..A/f looks good on idle. Just try to shoot for .25 airflowperrev at idle on a 2.0 motor. Adjust tps to .63 volts at idle.
As for timing it is difficult to see how your setup is doing until we get a WOT 3rd gear pull log, since this log is mostly idle. If you have replaced the knock sensor, start at lower boost and log before you reach some knock retard. Now the 1g stock timing table is generally very aggressive from the start. You can toggle the table by hitting the two black arrows on top of the table to see stock. You can copy a 2g or evo8 timing map from dsmlink wiki and start from there if you want to start doing some wot pulls. It is less aggresive than a 1g map and you can safely test wot at a lower boost setting and advance /retard timing as you go. Keep in mind the SD VE fuel table will start needing adjustment. Pump gas will have limitations for you at the 21.5 psi you have. Link will retard accordingly based on your knock.

Thanks, glad I managed to at least remember how to set the car up. I haven't been able to of any WOT 3rd gear pulls yet (breaking-in a new transmission) but I do have some logs of the car after the knock sensor was replaced and there is still no knock. I'll back if off to about 18psi when I start retuning and will try using one of the other tables (already have them downloaded). I'll take care of the TPS adjustment today and fiddle with the airflowperrev a bit before going to work.

Sounds good, trans break in holding you back though :p
This will give you time to iron out all the little kinks and link setup. You got pretty good mods, Post up a wot log when you can, curious to see your setup potential :thumb:

Thanks. Will do, I'm interested to find out as well. It will probably be a couple weeks before I'm able to post up a WOT log (only 60% through the break-in process) but I'll have the laptop plugged in for the ride as soon as I'm clear.

Transmission break-in completed. While I won't be launching any time soon I did load on the new map (starts at 8* @ 3k rpm rather than 6) and I still have no knock so apparently I can go higher (though I won't until I get some dyno time). I'll have a log up at some point.
