Ok here i go this is for a friend of mine. He has a 95 Talon AWD auto. As far as work goes he has 550 injectors, T-28 Killer turbo, FMIC, Greddy Piping, 3" Exhaust (Downpipe and Cat Back), Greddy BOV, MBC, SAFCII, AFPR, Dejon Tool Intake.

Ok here is the problem i hooked up the s afc and i messed up on a wire and it caused it to trip P0100 code which is the air flow meter, wiring, or computer. so i check the wires and i had a loose one fixed it. so that is taken care of. now the car sounds like it has a big set of cams in it and they are factory the cars timing advances nice when we take it out but it should pull stronger. (this is my old set up.) i was wondering if you guys would thing this is a miss or would you think it is somthing else. we can see unburnt fuel come out of the exhaust but it isnt tripping of a CEL and im a little puzzled. i ran out of day light yesterday so i didnt pull the plugs. should happen today let me know what you guys think on this problem.

Thanks. :dsm:

What are the settings on the AFC? For troubleshooting purposes the high and low should be zero'ed out. Then use the datalogger to set it for the car it's installed in now. Every car is different trust me. One setting will work great for one car and damage the motor of another car with the same mods :talon:

i have stuff zeroed out trying to figure out what is causing the car to run as ruff as it was.
the settings havent been ajusted just tring to figure out what is goin on. the car like i said runs like it has cams but it is stock. we just got it back from the shop. it was in for a crank angle sensor... balance shaft belt broke( wasnt replaced just new sensor). i didnt approve of this my friend did and it was his car. if you think this might have somthing to cause it let me know.

That is a bad idea. Either remove the balance shafts or put a belt back on it. You can possibly be doing harm to the motor. I started a post a while back when my belt broke and I was going to leave it off. I was strongly encouraged by serveral ppl on the board to either remove the balance shafts or put the belt back on. Some that can go in to more detail about why this is a bad idea should chime in.
