How would I go about Removing my A/C without venting tons of freeon?

I havnt found a vfaq on this so if anyone has aquired a url plz let me know

Yeh. Full-charge is 33 oz. If you take it to an AC shop, they should suck it out for free, or for very little. It'd save your apparent conscious. Otherwise put on a good heavy glove and slowly crack a fitting.

Oh, and latest guess about the ozone is that it wasn't from Freon. And even if it was, automotive and domestic use of Freon for cooling was on the order of 4% of the Freon ever used.

Yea 5 min. after i posted this i took a drill to a line and vented it out.
