96 tsi to a 95 esi body

I have a 1996 eagle talon Tsi that i have purchased in NY a couple of years ago. Due to the salt on the road and water and time the strut towers are rotting out. The engine runs great and the car drives smooth. I have recently bought a 95 talon esi shell to transfer the engine over too, but have found out the frame is "backwards". I was wondering if anyone had tried this before and had gotten it to work. Is this even possible or am i wasting my time? If anyone can help i would be gratful or if someone knows were I can pick up a turbo body for a transfer. Thank for the help.

the least ammount of work would prob be replacing the strut towers.

You're looking at at LEAST 2000-3000 in order to put the TSi engine into the ESi... which is easily what you could spend buying an AWD with a blown motor or a whole different 2g turbo
