Took a break from working on my 95’ AWD Talon for a while to start my own business, but I am getting some free time again.

I pulled out all of the interior to deal with some rust, so I went ahead and painted the floorboards up front. I also decided to lay down some sound deadening to get a more comfortable ride later on. The interior harness consisted of a lot of wire wrapping and electrical tape, and that just wouldn’t fit my goals.

The engine was removed, and I discovered that it did have forged internals in the 6-bolt swap. I’m swapping out the valve train for GSC and giving the cylinder head some love while it’s all apart. I am planning on using E85, so i picked up some -6an PTFE line and a 295 fuel pump.

The block will be headed to the machine shop once the Kiggly girdle arrives, so hopefully I’ll have it driving here soon. I just finished up new hard lines for the ABS delete, but I’m still working on cleaning up the calipers in preparation for new rotors and pads.
