95 headlights Suck

Hey will 97-99 projector headlights fit on my 95 GS-T? And will I have to reshape my front body kit to fit them?

yea they will fit, but you will have a gap about 1-2" between the lights and the bumper. the 97-99 lights are shorter in length than the 95-96 lights.

but itsnt that backwards ?

dont you get the gap from putting a 97+ cover on a 95 car (95 headlights)
if thats the case.. 97+ headlights on a 95 car/bumpercover wouldnt fit would it
again, i may be way off here- i dont know from personal experiance.

Final answer, comes from experience:

Putting 97-99 headlamps on a 95-96 2G will result in a space between the inner most edge of the head light and part of the bumper with the Mitsu Logo on it.

Putting 95-96 headlamps on a 97-99 style bumper will work although many will try to tell you it wont and it looks fine But the inner most part of the headlamp will be BEHIND the center of the bumper and looks just fine like that.

There ARE projector headlamps for 95-96's on eBay, search, oem fit.
There are, and have always been, 97+ headlamps everywhere.

95-96 headlamps are Wider from one side to the other than 97-99 style lights.

I cant think of anything else.

Yup.. 97+ headlights are 'smaller' than 95-96 headlights... therefore there would be a small gap when putting 2gb headlights on a 2ga bumper.

Yes it will look just like a stock 97-99.. that's also called a 2gb conversion front at least.

97+ lights with 97+ bumper = good
97+ lights with 95-96 bumper = gap between headlights and bumper
95-96 lights with 97+ bumper = bumper covers up some of the headlight

So, has anyone actually bought the 95-96 projector headlights from ebay? I'm really considering it, but I just gotta find some good reviews or someone saying they have them and they're nice. I'm not scared or anything, just being a little timid as to whether or not I should purchase them...

I have 97-99 black housing projectors that I bought off eBay.. when I got them they looked great (putting them on my car next week w/my 2gb conversion). Everything looked in really good condition, but I still put a new layer of silicone along the edges just in case they leak, it can't hurt.. only $3 for silicone and an hour or so of your time.

That sounds good to me, I'm planning on the getting the black housing as well for my 95. Well let us know how that comes out, not sure if I'll have mine bought by then or not, but I would definitely like to hear how you like them.
