ok so im getting a 92 with bent valves is there anything i should look for and what all do i need for the rebuild? im taking it to a shop so i want to make sure i get a good deal. would a mitsu dealer still work on them? i plan on returning it to full oem

I would check to make sure that the head isnt warped or has major damage. I would also check the pistons to make sure there is no damage done to them. I am not too sure if a Mitsu dealer would still work on it. You can call and check. You will need of course new valves(possibly springs and retainers). If the head is warped then you will need to get yourself a new head. It all depends on how much damage there is once the motor is pulled and torn apart to tell what you need to do.

well i was planning on just putting a new head on it anyone know a place that has a good warranty on one? can anyone refer a good diy thread to changing the valve guides and the seats? also getting the valves out and in?
