Most threads ive found about these are several years old, so since these seem to be pretty cheap i thought i would start a new one.

Got these on ebay, here. They came with the green upper seals as in the picture. From looking at it it would seem like the upper sheet may be included, but when i got the injector today its actually hard plastic that is part of the injector. Guessing i still need the sheets and it will just sit on top hard plastic part? They didnt come with the lower insulators so i should probably get some new ones of those for sure.

Also i have dsmlink so any idea on the deadtime to try for these? Ive read around and seen people say to try +264us and someone else said +432us. Should be around -40% for the fuel adjustment also correct?

Heres an up close pic for reference

I have the same injectors. work fine for me..

I also have Link and Im looking up right now what I had to set my global to. My globa was -40 and deadtime was 315. Keep in mind I havent had my car tuned yet. I havent had a wideband and those were what came on the chip when I got my dsmlink from ecmtuning.

Cool man thanks for the quick response. Guessing you did use the upper "sheets" ?

Im kinda confused about the word sheet. can you explain? I got some new lower seals and put them in the way you have your sitting right in the picture.

No I didnt use the sheets. I was in the same boat as you but they wont work on those injectors.

Its kinda weird because I use to have and audi and delt with alot siemens and bosch stuff and Im from germany. So at least I have one german tool in the car other than me...

From looking at it thats what i thought, but thanks for confirming it. Ill call the local dealership tomorrow to see if they can get the bottom insulators for a decent price.

Once i get my 255lph fuel pump and the injectors installed i plan to start tuning. I will start with your numbers and see where that gets me. I do have a wideband setup to log through dsmlink so that should help things.

If anyone else is interested in these injectors they seem like a steal at $180 shipped.

I got mine for 180 also they were new and had the lower seals.

umm if you go to a dealer they are going to be around 3$ per so 12 total for the seals

but you can try this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...9-1g-2g-cheaper-fuel-injector-insulators.html

worked for me for a little while until I got the new seals.

Sorry to bring this thread up again but I have these same injectors. I was wondering if the hard plastic piece comes off because if I keep it on it wont fit in the whole on the head.???
