5500 RPM Engine cuts hard

[rally a 4g63]

1g eagle talon AWD TSI. In 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear while accelerating through 5500 rpm the motor cuts hard, feels like I just hit the brake pedal. If I run 1/4 throttle through 5500 rpm, there is no problem. I use the car for SCCA club rally PGT, so I run a 32mm turbo inlet restrictor and has a K&N filter in the stock box, and a 3" exhaust, no other Mods. I change plugs and wires, still does it, and I am changing the fuel filter today. I need help now, we are racing this weekend. Has anyone had this problem, or does anyone have a quick solution to this? I did read other forums, not sure if this is a fuel cut problem or what. Thanks

Do 1g's have OEM boost control solenoid like the 2g's do? If so check all the hoses. I forgot to install one of the hoses when i have to switch back to the BCS and i was getting the same cuts because my wastegate was oppening prematurely during acceleration....
