4g64 vacuume reading?

My friend is reading -5hg at idle on a boost guage (were in the process of a 1g head and turbo setup hes getting all the electronics nad guages in)

is that normal on an almost stock 4g64?

don't know too much about 4g64 but just the number itself seems to be a little low for me. I would do a leak down test if i were you. It's amazing all the little leaks you can find on these cars.

You're at least ten inches short.
Make sure he's plugged into the right spot, and that the line's not kinked.

there is only two vacuume lines avaliable so we will try the other tomorrow
