A small story about my Galant vr-4 (483/2000)
First off its how i came to own my galant. Ebay.. i took a huge chance i called a guy selling it and asked if he would like to trade for a 96 Toyota Tacoma.. Oddly enough he told me he was selling the Galant to buy a 97 Tacoma. so i dropped my taco off and had it shipped to Boise Idaho. Two weeks later my Galant vr-4 arrived..
Well after a quick inspection i noticed that the galant was exactly how he described it.. i loved my car.. 3 months later.. i had a choice to make, let my friends mom loose her house or sell my galant and help her. With her Promise to help me buy an Evo. Awesome Right??... As luck would have it i got screwed.. never got the money just a bunch of excuses, i finally got tired of the BS and Moved from Mooresville NC, to Scranton PA to take a job working for an oil and gas company...
As luck would have it a week ago i see it the damn thing for sale! as soon as i saw it i picked up the phone letting the gentleman no i was buying my car back.. well he lets me know that is dead... awesome i thought just great sell it in great condition and get back shit. He describes what happened.. The car would run for a second and shut off.. I immediately thought ECU.. so i took a spare with me... after paying the money and getting the title i hooked up the ecu started it and drove it on the trailer..
