420a swap to 4g63

I am thinking about swapping out my 420a and putting in a 4g63. I would like to know how hard this swap will be and what you guys think about this. If u can give me some tips to make it go easier that would be kool.

I would have to agree with sleepin on this one. From what i've been told by severl people is that motor mounts ar completely different. So just sell your n/t and get a gs-t/x

i asked this question before i got my gst...and you should just buy a new car it will be much chaeper and safer in the long run..otherwise u need to pull the tranny from your car and the motor i believe because the 420a sits differently so the mounts are different...dont waste your time on the thought just get the for sale sign out or go buy a star or hahn turbo kit and build your 420A up

Turbo Engine Swap
This project is extremely time consuming, complex and expensive due to the amount of parts needed to perform the task. The parts alone can range upwards of $5000. The basic parts needed are: Engine, transmission, ECU, intercooler (and piping), fuel pump, complete exhaust system, and possibly a few more things not mentioned. The two options above are definitely better choices for the less experienced. Consider the cost of simply buying a factory turbocharged DSM before attempting this swap.

the engines sit backwards, so ud have to get a new engine, tranny, cut the floor out, weld in one from a turbo car, and put all that jazz back in, its not worth it.
