I have a 95 talon esi. I am in the process of installing a nx wet kit. What other mods will I need to run safely, i already have nitrous pressure gauge, fuel pressure gauge, egt. And do i really need a higher flowing fuel pump/rail, if so what specs?

It all depends.

How big of a shot are you planning for? Is your engine up to par?

For a 75 shot or smaller, you should get the basic I/H/E.

Remember, if you do not know what you're doing, have a professional install it. It could mean a fun time or a rebuild time if installed wrong.

Installing nitrous is easy. The only other mod I had done before the nitrous install was an intake, and if I can do it I'm sure ou can.

Get a compression check to make sure your engine is healthy. As for supporting mods, I would get a bottle heater and an EGT gauge. You do not need to change anything in your fuel system.

Have fun nitrous is a blast :thumb:

wewll, im not exactly a nood, but i am when it comes to nirtous, so, I already have the intake, and exhaust done. and I ordered some gauges nitrous pressure, egt, and fuel pressure. Just wanted to make sure i didnt need to upgrade the pump or rail, and thanks for the advice

You shoud get 1 range colder plugs. I have the Zex plugs. It wouldn't hurt to get plug wires. I have accel 8.5 mm's. I also would suggest a coil pack. i have the Screamin Demon. Atleast you should get plugs. If you got anymore questions talk to me on AIM.

One step or two step colded spark plugs, NONE PLATINUM. Preferably NGK plugs. Higher plug wires (8.5mm+) I'd recommend, but that's solely up to you, they're not needed. Your fuel rail will be ok. I'd say a nitrous pressure guage would be needed, and for absolute proper safety, a blow down tube and properly installed bottle mounting brackets. Fuel pressure guage, egt, etc. is up to you. The Zex and NX nitrous consoles cut nitrous injection whenever the fuel level reaches a certain low point, but it'd make me feel more comfortable having an accurate guage and knowing my own limits.

Don't spray under 3K preferably, 2.5 at the least. Don't spray over 75 on stock internals.

That's all that's seriously needed, the rest is optimal.

ive been doing some research on nitrous for my 420 and ive been reading about the possiblity of messing up the motor when using nitrous once the fuel cuts around what rpm does this occur with stock fuel management? ive searched the forums on fuelcut and none that helped =/ and i keep hearing the colder the plug would bkr5e plugs be good or bad? ive already bought a dry fogger kit from NOS but i wanna wait till i know the facts on proper safe usage before install :):thumb:
