Vancouver,
Hi, did some research and found out if i wanted to change my orange lighting in my stock gauge cluster (tach, speedo), i'd have to 'sand' the orange off the bumbers on the back of the gauge face. can someone give me more details on the sanding, and if i do, i just get some blue twist bulbs for the back and im good to go? any pics or input would be much appreciated. I did find this one. Looks awesome.

Would getting amber/orange/red bulbs to replace the white ones affect how the gauges appear make any difference by itself (without taking the faces off and sanding them and so on)? I don't like how dull the factory gauges are, if there were let's say red bulbs back there would they be more red than dull orange, or would they be even duller because of less light? And where would you get those small bulbs, I've checked auto parts stores before and they didn't have any.

^^I am wondering this as well, has anyone tried putting red bubls into the cluster to see how much it changes the color? I was going to test it out but the leftover cluster bulbs I have from my honda do not fit the mitsu so I can't test it out without purchasing more bulbs.
