I have a 95 TSi AWD. The fuel system is stock with the exception of a rewired fuel pump. When I check the datalogger, STFT=17% and LTFT=12%. They never change. I've read posts here as well as nabr that it may be due to a faulty O2 sensor. The O2 sensor is 2 months old and cycles the way it's supposed to during normal driving. I think that 17% and 12% are the "limits" to how much the ECU can compensate which makes me want to ask,"Is the stock fuel system designed to run lean like this?" Or is this indicative of some other underlying problem?

You may be overunning the fuel pressure regulator. You can get a afpr and see if that helps otherwise unless you get dsmlink or something of that sort your stuck with how the ecu deals with fuel trims

Sounds to me like you are running very lean. I see no form of fuel management in your parts list. Clue us in on what you are using... but since you have the T28 and a few other goodies, and want injectors; chances are you don't have an AFC or MAFT.

Eh, oh well. You will learn eventually.

if he was overrunning the fpr he'd be running rich. If you have stock fuel setup dont worry about it, thats just the way your car runs. When you get bigger injectors you will be able to tune that out with an afc

Don't worry about it?! OMG

The car is running so lean it can't compensate enough!
