Everything was working fine until I did a BLT. Ended up replacing all my injector seals. Fired it up and had a horrible misfire. I pulled the cop connector from cyl 1 and it died, same with cyl 4. I disconnected cyl 2 and 3 at the same time and the motor ran exactly the same, which led me to believe the misfire was from failed coils.
I put the stock wires and OEM coil in and it ran perfectly, put the COP setup back in and got the misfire again. Switched the positions of the coils (moved 1 to 2, and 3 to 4) and the car didnt even want to start. Put the OEM wires and coil back in just to double check and it fired right up.
Question is: I know these things run in pairs, but if 1 coil goes bad, would it also make its "partner" cylinder go bad (like being wired in series)? Or do I really have bad coils on 2 and 3?
