2.0L NT head/intake the same as 1g Turbo?

you can use the 1G turbo or non turbo intake manifold on a 2G turbo but not on a 2G non turbo.

so long as you have a 2G turbo, you can use either from a 1G 2.0L.

So are they the same pieces for 1g Turbo's and NT's? Thats really my question. My friend locally has a wrecked 2.0 NT that he just got paid for by insurance so while I'm doing my head gasket and head stud upgrade I figured I might as well swap especially if I can get every single part I need from him. I understand the cams arent going to be the same, but if the timing belt is off of the head anyway it shouldnt be a big deal to swap it at all, especially since I have to put my revised lifters into the new head anyway.

Yes, so long as it is the 2.0 and not the 1.8, you can swap it.
Right, keep your cams if you can.
Also, swap out that tiny 2G trottle body for the larger 1G one. (you will have to make a "T" in one of the vacume lines though as the non turbo 2.0 only has three lines instead of four)

2.0 l intake manifolds are different form turbo to n/t. turbo has 2 vacum things on it and n/t has one.

What vaccum ports? I dont need the MDP sensor on it at all because I have DSMlink setup to ignore the MDP sensor anyway, and I want to get rid of the PCV while I'm at it, so I can use that nipple for a boost reference nipple anyway :). My main concern is simply the internal passageways. The NT throttle body is actually bigger than the turbo one anyway, so yes that will definately go on.
