1g motor swap

I have a 94 laser rs n/a, i can get a 92 tsi awd motor without the tranny. Will my fwd tranny work on the tsi awd motor straigt up or do I need to get a new tranny or is there a kit i can buy that converts the awd to a fwd? Thanks for any help

Your tranny will bolt up, But you have to use your non turbo clutch and flywheel. Dont forget the engine harness and ecm

It can if you up the boost or do some mods to the engine. Just when you floor it and you get some wheel hop let off right away otherwise the tranny will explode on ya.

Thanks, I dont plan on putting the boost too high, and i dont really get on my cars.... i do plan on upgrading a lot of parts and the tranny would ###### be one of the first things i do.
