I can get an awesome deal on some greddy IC pipes, but I have and want to use my 1g bov on the pipes. I know the deal is that a greddy bov will fit on the 1g flange but the 1g bov wont fit on the greddy flange.... HOWEVER, would it be possible (with my reasoning it should be), to buy a flat flange for the 1g bov (like such, on right hand side, http://www.diamondstarmotorsport.com/diyparts_files/AL-flanges.jpg) and drill 2 holes in it to mount the 1g flange to on top of the greddy flange itself. If i were to counter-bore the holes in the 1g bov for the bolts, and use rtv or something to seal the two flanges so it wouldnt leak technically it should work right? If you can hack a 1g flange to fit a greddy bov, why not hack the 1g flange to fit the greddy flange? If my reasoning is somehow wrong here please correct me before i try it!

if your going to go thru the effor - just wack the greddy flange off and weld on a 1g flange.
much- much cleaner.
