1990 GSX Connector near battery?

Hello all, I have a question about a connector on my 1990 GSX that is in the same wire loom as my positive battery terminal connector. It is unplugged and looks to have been used sometime recently. This was a cruise controled car at one point, and as I'm sure you all know, the cruise control was put in that stuipid spot right next to the battery. Am I correct in assuming that this connector went to the cruise control box at one point in time? I can post up a picture if needed, but I am thinkin somebody will know. Thanks!

im going to revive this, namely because i have a (the same perhaps) connector he is describing. Its about 2 inches down from the main pos supply. Four wires, B/r; B/y; B/orange; Blue/brown.

Appreciate the help. I bought this car, and the engine was spliced and stripped to shame!! Just spent all day trying to identify my coolant wire temp lines via color coding. My search-Fu is terrible
