Hey guys, I'm getting ready to buy a walboro 190lph fuel pump. I was wondering what you need to install it, as the one I found on ebay says it comes with an installation kit for eclipse/talon. Also, what would be safe boost to run on an evo 16g with stock injectors and stock ic with the 190. I have a maft for tuning, and a logger to help, but I need a safe boost level till I can afford 550cc injectors and a good fmic.

as far as where to get , i got mine from extreme PSI , they sell on ebay too. If you goto their site its all ree shipping, 95.00 for pump. For install check the Vfaq. One big difference that i will pass onto you. They have to remove the lower fitting to get the pump out , well i think thats kind of dump. I did that and tried getting pump out without cutting metal. Well then the light went off, take off th eupper fitting that is protected somewhat so not corroded. Then the pump comes out easliy cause no stupid hose is stopping it. Also it helped ensure that you make a good seal putting it back it . Much easier job that way.

Yea, I always fill up with 93 octane. I was runnin 15psi with the t-25 no problem, but I'm afraid of turning up the boost on the e16g. The wastegate is set at 10-11 psi on the evo right now, so I'm gonna just keep that till I get the fuel pump. I don't want to melt my pistons.

I was hopin I could run 15psi with the e16g as well...thanks. When I install the pump I'll start turning up the boost slowly and keep an eye on the logger.

Thanks

When I did my install, I had to cut the metal line coming out of the pump. The fitting was totally rusted. Anyways, cut the fitting, did the job, putting everything back together: I just bought a couple of rad clamps and some rubber fuel line to patch it, I've had no problems as of yet.
Good luck to ya

Oh yeah, BTW, when you get the install kit, there will be a zip tie in there, most people scrap it and use a rad hose clamp there as well.
