14b question

i posted a while back about an antifreeze leak from my turbo... i went to the dealer and ordered a new coolant return line (that was the part the guy told me i needed) so today i went and picked up the part and attempted to put it on... there is no way a line went there so i went back to the dealer and they happend to have a picture posted of the evo8 motor by the counter... then i saw the exact hole in the turbo that mine has... with a freeze plug in it. so my question is, is there a freeze plug on a 14b? if so what size plug do i buy and what type of sealer if any should be put on the plug upon installation?

I'm having a hard time understanding what you're trying to say, are you saying that the replacement line you picked up didn't fit?

yea theres a banjo bolt on the side of the turbo towards the radiator and right under that there is a hole that has no threads in it (didnt realize it when i went to buy the line) and if there were threads in the hole and you put a banjo bolt in that hole the other banjo bolt wouldnt be able to be bolted onto the turbo it appears to me that there used to be some kind of sealant in the hole and it would only make sense for there to be a freeze plug in the hole

You need to take out the banjo bolt, and use it to secure the water line to the turbo. Make sure it's pretty tight or it will leak.
