I lied! Got the Laser "driving" after 3 years as of April 2025. Buddy of mine couldn't believe I took it up the driveway and back. I'd tell you what I had to fix to get it on the road, but you'd gloss over, and might not believe some of it...
Since I got it on the road, of course I found MORE problems that took it off the road after driving it a few miles. Wish I had 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week to work on this thing. It would be done so much faster. I'm satisfied with any progress made at this point.

Well I put it down for the summer...it's easier to work on it when it's not 20 and 30 degrees outside, and the car runs fine at any temperature in WA state.
Gauge install, wire deletes, timing belt, manifold swap, cam swap, and maybe the clutch pedal again...

I can definitely see the reasoning. It can be tough to get work done during the other seasons up here. Bummer that your DSM won't be at one of the summer events coming up. GL on the build out though!
