when will we be able to get some of the 1/4 window trim clips?
Also the clips that hold the exterior door skin on 1gb talon would be awesome,

Then this will be right up your street! Its every clip for 1 car on the window trim. So rear quarters and rear tailgate. Even without having sun killing them off faster they are now of an age where they go brittle now

And how much for the kit

It is not fully set on price yet as I need to get a final price for tooling much nearer the time but currently, pre-checking from last tooling pricing, it's going to be about $280 for a full kit plus shipping. thats all new metal plates and hardware also
I will put a deposit down on the upper radiator rubber replacement thingies. I need some bad. Need the bottom/lower ones too!

I dont have a lower to copy im afraid. I still got to do a final check on the uppers to be 100% sure but i will have more updates on ALOT of 1G parts by sunday so keep checking back! 😉
I asked a question in a reply to another question so going to repost as an actual question. The bushes for the front subframe, will they be rubber replacements? Or poly? I currently have poly but am looking to back to rubber.
Thanks

I planned to use a TPU material myself. Why are you reverting back to rubber?

Trying to get the car back into more of a street car. I’m doing a lot more cruises and shows so street driving the car a lot. So trying to get it more comfortable, not so much vibration, and at my power level it’s not gonna hinder me. My goal is to have a true street car (comfortable, power everything, a/c, etc)and still have plenty of power.

@blktalon3 might be best to source some OEM ones that someone has removed for poly ones. as long as they not broken should be ok for you and your goals
Keep up the good work Bobby. Can’t wait.

I've often thought about trying to 3D print them as well. Do you have a 3D scanner or do you do all of it in a drafting program

The clips are very small and detailed, i have to hand draw every one from measurements. I do have a scanner but these parts are so small and some places really thin

I'm excited for this. Any additional updates?

So are you 3d printing the clips or have you decided to build a mold?

I have 3D printed the prototypes. Tweeks can then be made to suit but the end goal would be to have them injection molded as i wish to adjust the material to a slightly better spec for one thats less brittle after some age and should be alot more reuseable as its an ABS blend vs pure ABS.

Going the mold route will be the best way to be as oem as possible for quality and strength vs printing as some parts are really thin

I would love to see the molded.

The bushes for the front subframe, will they be a rubber replacement and not polyurethane? I have poly now but am looking to go back to rubber.
I am in dire need of some of these. My trim is not even installed anymore. I am very very interested in how this proceeds.
