- I've recently bought my first dsm so 99 gsx and it runs well and is free of rust so in mint condition but still needs tlc. The previous owner claims he when up to approx 350hp but is currently at (+/-) 300hp whith 12psi of boost on a 16g ebay turbo. I'm swapping turbo for one new reliable turbo since tgis one is ebay and has shaft in and out play ...The setup for now is 255 fuel pump with 550cc injector and injen intakw, with 3 in exhaust, front mout intercooler, and ecm link. My goal is to eventualy make it to 400hp but reliable for a summer daily. For this summer i just want a safe and reliable gsx at 300+hp and take the time to get to know my car and work the bugs out before i push it to 400hp.
