Background
I’ve owned over a dozen Eclipse’s (2g, 3g, and 4g). I love the body style and interior of the 2g the best. I’ve never owned a turbo model. This is my first GST. I found it on Facebook marketplace. It’s a true barn find. 2 owner car with only 120k on it. It developed a knock in the engine and the original owner parked it in storage for years. The interior is like new except for the headliner. Even the dash is perfect because it had a dash protector on it since almost new. It still had the factory embroidered Eclipse logo floor mats still in it. Everything inside, outside and under the hood is just like it was on the dealer lot when new. Nothing has been changed or modified. All body lines are perfect and there are no dents or cracks. Just needs paint. The factory wheels have ZERO curb rash or scratches. Still look new. I got it for only $700!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. My plan is to fully restore it to as close to showroom as possible. I will do some nice engine/suspension mods, but I will hang on to all the original factory parts. Can’t wait to start building the engine and cleaning it back up.
