Weird OD issue

Well my trans has been doing well but sometimes at highway speeds when shifting from 3rd to OD it shifts and free spins. Then I will push the OD button and it will downshift to 3rd and then hit it again and sometimes it will upshift and catch the gear and sometimes with won't.

I am not sure if my trans needs a rebuild or if there is something I can do anything to avoid complete replacement of the transaxles. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Sounds like burned up end clutches. IPT sells a kit for like $90-100. VFAQ has the replacement procedure. Very easy to do.

I had to same issue with mine and if you replace the end clutch should fix it. 5150dsm is correct and its pretty easy to do
