Hey guys, need some advise on this. Basically, my drag wheels (aero 15x10 w/5in backspace) are hitting the brake calipers:

I don't think grinding down the caliper will solve the problem so I need some more ideas on what options I have. I thought of threading some nuts on to bring the mounting surface out beyond the caliper, but this seems like a sloppy workaround. Will I have to get a different set of wheels?

Based on where you're pointing and your mention of threading nuts on, it looks like the wheel offset is not correct. Sounds like you need a wheel spacer to push the wheel out a bit from the hub. If so, you can test how much spacer you need by stacking up some washers on the studs, then test fitting the wheel.

Well if that metal bridge piece on the caliper wasn't there, the wheel would mount up perfectly. It's not hitting anything in the back, like the knuckle or anything, just this part on the caliper. It's almost like the angle, from the center of the wheel's mounting surface to the spokes, is not enough to clear the caliper. Do you think increasing the backspace would provide more of an angle?

Alright, yeah I think I'll give the spacers a try. Thanks for the help.
