ok so leave the vacume line alone do i have to cap it or anything...why caint we have the vacume line connected? just wondering

Base fuel pressure for the 2g is 43.5psi. With the car running, unplug the vacuum line that would go from the IM to the AFPR. Your fuel pressure should change when you do that. Loosen the lock nut and tighten clockwise on the adjustable stud to raise the fuel pressure. Once you have it at 43.5, tighten the lock nut and re attach the vac. line.

Before you do all of this, it would be a smart idea to put Teflon tape on the vac line barb if you installed it and on the adjustable screw. The adjustable screw has a good chance to leak boost.

thanks guys sounds good thanks for the quick replys and good info...

im surprised to see your results then, last i heard the ebay fprs are not 1:1 rising fpr, thus no real success from anybody here.

best chance for a cheap alternative is to get the aeromotive knockoff.

i havent purchased it yet i wanted to see if it was worth buying first but i gusse i can go with a aeromotive afpr thanks
