619 area - what shops you guys trust

Hey guys I am kinda new in the 619 area still and was wondering what shops you guys trust and go to on a regular basis with your cars. Any info would help, i just bought my car a couple weeks ago and am currently fixing the previous owners tuning mistakes and need to get a little bit of work done.

sorry if i sounded a hole!!! most of the shops in sd work only on hondas and since i could not aford a shop the only work on dsm's i kinda learn by my self , but this shop work on dsm machine shop and all that good stuff

cool thanks man, most of the work i want to do myself any way its just that there are some things that are over my head that i need to get fixed now ya know. i also need to do engine diagnostics and stuff. thanks again fo rhte info!!

yeah it sucks but really you should just learn to do it your self. RRE is the only shop that I would trust to work on my car and trust me they have earned the good reputation they have. if you don't want to drive that far, roll em up and get dirty your-self.

There is another shop in Colton that is good. They do a lot of DSMs/Evo's. They did the dyno tuning on my car and their shop was packed with evos at the time so they must be doing something right then! Here is there address if you are interested.

RRE is one of the best shops with the best reps. towards DSM.. Bought 95% of my parts from there..

Hey Ship mate, unfortunately most of the shop down in san diego aren't too geared toward Dsm's. It is best to drive 1.5 hours north to www.roadraceengineering.com. They will help you out with what ever you need. When i was station down in miramar, most all Dsm owners took the trip every 96 or 72 to go up there and get what they needed. If you don't know how to do the job that is required, they will help you. I've personally dealt with Pann auto and a few other places and I never went back there since the first time. I scouted the area to see what they had and none of the shops got close to what RRE has to offer.

Just an FYI, RRE website doesn't have all their parts listed on their website but, will be able to get you those parts without a problem. It took me about two days to get my order from them
and they will tell you ( if you are nice) that you could call them if you run into a problem.
