The coolant is fine
I think it's a combo of a lean tune, my 900mile treck back to NY yesterday it embarked on, etc.
No oil leak visible anywhere, or any oil spurting. No oil visible anywhere on the head, head gasket, anywhere...
The coolant didn't leak at all or burn though
It doesn't (and didn't 5 minutes ago) smoke white or smell of oil just driving around or idling
The oil is pretty dark, it needs to be changed
Also, it needed two quarts

I didn't do any spirited driving so I didn't see any white smoke.
THe white smoke was only under HARD accelerating (saw quiet a few pretty cars in the way home and last night, they didn't know what hit them...).
MORE IMPORTANTLY:
I occasionally notice a lite ticking or knocking noice. Sort of similar to piston slap in sound that I had with my LS1.
I can't recall if I heard it when I bought the car (damn twin disk was distracting me...)
Now I know the 4g63 is all cast iron, so I'm a little stumped.
It came and went and I'm thinking it's just the injectors or could it be early spark because of the tune? AMS tuned the dsmlink and I'm really stumped.
UGH...
I'd just like to get the car sorted out before I go to watkins glenn (roadcourse), I'd hate to be burning a lot of oil up there or blow up anything engine related. I've already got my hands full with the tranny...

THe one thing I noticed is the car doesn't idle very smooth
Could this be because of the DSMlink?
Anyone?
