I started up my car this moring and I push my clutch pedal down and it seemed like it had no pressure and its really light..I have a hard time getting it into gear..so I checked the clutch fluid and it was almost empty so I filled it up and then I headed off to work once I got there it was empty again so I filled it up again and still no luck and I still have a hard time getting into gears...and I dont see any leaks comming for the slave cylinder eather...any suggestions before I take it into the shop???

seems fine this morning..I looked that the master cylinder and it doesnt appear to be leaking at all..so I looked inside the car and I see alittle bit of fluid but not a lot..kinda like an oil type mosture around the master cylinder where the clutch pedal connect to..but its very minimal..I will check and see if it goes down again when I drive it to work this afternoon..still no pedal pressure though..

Your master cylnder needs to be replaced or rebuilt.

Does the pedal stay against the floor? I had that same problem with my car and it ended up being the piston inside the clutch master cylinder wasn't greased, it siezed up. :laser:

There is your leak. It will appear wet around that black boot. Time to get it replaced.

ya its the master cylinder..all that fluid leaked out and it soaked up into my carpet below the pedal..and I filled it up again an it slowy leaked out..so thats going to get fixed next week how much it is for a new master cylinder?
