I just recently did a 6bolt swap in my 99gst and now its throwing a cel p1400 mdp sensor malfunction, i did some searching and couldn't find anything. Also when driving my car bogs then ill stop at a light and start driving again and it drives ok. I know i have a exhaust leak at exhaust manifold. I don't think this would cause it. Any input would help thanks.

My car's oil smelt like gas when I brought it home.
I replaced both O2 Sensor with Denso's.
Sparkplugs NGK BPR6ES, and NGK Wire's, which I've read that MSD's are the best.
I also had to replace my Cat before I could pass emissions.
My MDPS went out too. I replaced it and my car ran killer.
Don't forget to disconnect your battery after you replace it.
Also check for boost leaks.
p1400 is the Manifold Differential Pressure Sensor. About $92 shipped from Satan.
It sits right on top of your intake manifold.

How your compression? You might have low compression causing the "bogging". And that low compression could be a problem with the piston rings that are letting fuel by and running into the oil pan.... Just a thought... Hope ya figure it out. :thumb:

Yeah, that would be worst case scenario of course.
Do a compression check just to be sure.
You could have a bunk O2 sensor.
Check for boost leaks and replace the MDPS.
My car stopped bogging instantly after replacing the MDPS.
Let us know your results from the comp test....
