I rebuilt my tranny and when I installed it, it locked up. There was too much preload on the shafts. After taking it apart and looking around I found that my input shaft was sitting higher than it should. I determined, with some help from Jon at TRE, that my bearings were all pressed on all the way. I then noticed this-
If that picture works, it will show how all the gears on the input shaft are sitting a little higher than the intermediate shaft.
Here's my dilemma/conundrum- Jon at TRE has thus told me that the bearing part # was supposed to be 26283-N. After looking at the old bearings that I pulled off, I found that my old bearing # was 32205 and my new bearing was the same 32205. So if I replaced the old with a new one with the same part number there shouldn't be a problem. I am using the old race with the new bearing. I might pull the old race to compare.
If anyone has any thoughts, or knows if these part #s look right, I'd appreciate the input.
